We believe the following:
- Providing young people with knowledge about HIV/AIDS will give them a greater understanding of the disease and leave them less exposed to misinformation and discrimination.
- Educating young people to be more tolerant of others will help to reduce stigmatization and discrimination towards people living with HIV/AIDS.
- Ensuring that young people aware of the facts about HIV/AIDS, information and resources available to them can make them less vulnerable to HIV/AIDS by enabling them to assess situations, evaluate choices, make informed decisions in their lives, and avoid risky behaviors.
